SUMMARY OF COURT ACTIVITIES FOR THE W EEK ENDING SATURDAY 11TH JUNE, 2016 There were a total of 96 cases in the different courts; 62 cases in the High Court, 27 in the Magistrate courts and 7 in the Juvenile court. Out of all the indigents, there were 125 male adults and 3 female adults, while 4 were male juveniles and 3 were female juveniles. 5 male adults were discharged and 3 male adults were sentenced. The number of indigents according to professions were as followers; 3 traders, 1 driver and 1 builder. The number of people according to the crimes for which tbey discharged was as follows: 1 for Robbery with aggravation, 1 for Wounding with intent, 1 for Assault -Grievous Bodily Harm, 1 for Larceny and 1 for Manslaughter. Today LAB has secured the discharge of two inmates who were remanded at the Pademba Road Correctional Center for one year seven months. they were charged for Robbery.
