Its 3:30 in the afternoon on Thursday 26th May at
the Legal Aid Board. Three Juveniles have been discharged from the Juvenile
Court.
1.
Abdul Turay, 14 years old, was charged with,
Carrying Offensive Weapons Without Lawful Authority and Loitering with Intent. He
spent 7 days at the Police station and 6 days at the Remand Home. He was
sentenced with an alternative fine of Le100 000. The fine was paid and they
freed.
2.
Mohamed Conteh, 16 years old, was charged with,
Carrying Offensive Weapons Without Lawful Authority and Loitering with Intent. He
spent 7 days at the Police station and 6 days at the Remand Home. He was
sentenced with an alternative fine of Le100 000. The fine was paid and they
freed.
3.
Abdul Karim Marah, 14 years old, was charged
with House Breaking and Larceny. He spent 1 month and 2 weeks at the Police
station and 6 days at the Remand Home. He was discharged for want of evidence.
